Cashmere

Days are getting colder and shorter and with the return of autumn, we brought back recycled cashmere to NAGO. One of the most precious materials you can wrap yourself in during this time of the year. Warm, gentle, pleasant to the touch, and what’s very important - good for the environment.

Sourcing cashmere is an extremely time-consuming process, so in order to limit the production of new cashmere, we decided to give a second chance to the one that already exists. We split the fibers of recovered sweaters, cleaned them, and turned them into whole new yarn. By recycling this material, we have managed to reduce water consumption and cut our carbon footprint in half, compared to the production of new cashmere.

Recycled cashmere is perfectly warm, very comfy and lets the skin breathe freely. From the beginning of NAGO's existence, the raw material itself is the most important for us. We really do care about its origin and certificates, which is why our recycled cashmere has the Global Recycled Standard certificate, so you can be sure that the final product meets all environmental and social criteria and is produced with the limited use of chemicals.

Our sweaters are made in Poland, of recycled cashmere with the addition of wool. They have classic styles that never go out of fashion, are precisely finished and fit any figure. Properly cared for, they will serve you for years, and their subdued colors will make your autumn outfits look just perfect.
